Our Teachers.

Ed O’Neill.

Ed has a Masters Degree in Law, after finishing his studies he qualified as a teacher. He has worked as a teacher in Poland, Spain and also Russia where he specialised in 1 to 1 lessons. He has thousands of hours of 1 to 1 teaching experience. He speaks 5 languages and knows exactly what is needed to be successful at language study. He says: “Every person is different, I love the fact that there are no two days the same, I really enjoy seeing students get better at the language.”

Simon Brewis.

Having spent a lot of time in Thailand teaching at University, Simon has a lot of knowledge and experience teaching Eastern students. He has also been an English teacher in the UK, in language schools and universities.

Claire Eremenko-Lowery.

Claire has been involved with languages for over 20 years. She worked for a long time in Germany before coming back to the UK to teach in the South of England. She holds a masters degree in English Philology as well as a Cambridge DELTA. She speaks fluent German and also speaks Italian. She loves working with people from all over the world.

Gemma Mitchelson.

Gemma has worked as a teacher in both Japan and France. She has made a great success of her career and has been manager of a number of ESOL courses in further education colleges. Outside of teaching Gemma enjoys acting and creative writing, at the moment when she has free time she is working on a collection of short stories.

Kay Stott.

Kay is a highly creative teacher who has a number of years experience working with children, both as an English teacher and as a Performing Arts facilitator. Kay is passionate about the arts and education. She is also an experienced musician and violin teacher. She loves working with children and really works hard to get the best from them.

Yvonne Gardiner.

Yvonne has a varied career background and developed a love of Spanish while living and working in Caracas , Venezuela for three years as a member of the Diplomatic Service. She also speaks some German and Italian. She holds the Institute of Linguists Diploma in Public Service Interpreting and the Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA). She has worked as a teacher of English to adult business students in Slovakia , Germany and the UK , and combines this with Spanish translation and interpreting.
